Homemade mango lemonade that is simple to make, refreshing, and hydrating. This homemade mango lemonade is made using a Vitamix blender with simple ingredients and no refined sugar.

Turmeric is the healing element of this recipe. It is not just a spice used for curry dishes. It is an anti inflammatory resource that is excellent in preventing and treating joint pain. Coconut water is the energizing element of this recipe. It is known as “Nature’s Gatorade.” It is packed with electrolytes. Electrolytes are responsible for regulating our nerve function, muscle function, and our body’s hydration levels. When we exercise, especially high intensity workouts, we sweat and lose electrolytes such as sodium and potassium. Coconut contains both sodium and potassium (way more potassium than bananas) as well as calcium, magnesium, and phosphorous. The coconut water is what makes this recipe curve building friendly because of its carbohydrate (a key macro nutrient in building sexy curves) and electrolyte properties.

Now that you know the key ingredients of the recipe it’s time to put it together. The steps are simple. First take all your ingredients and blend in a high-speed blender. That’s pretty much it. (I use the Vitamix Blender). If you are not using frozen fruit, make sure you use ice to keep it chilled. You can leave it as it is especially if using a high-speed blender. But if you prefer, you can strain the blended juice in a cheese cloth or nut milk bag to remove any extra pulp for a smoother lemon juice.

- 1 large fresh mangoes peeled and chopped or 1 cup of frozen mangoes
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3-4 packets stevia
- 2 cups coconut water
- 3 cups filtered water
- 1 tsp turmeric
- few ice cubes ONLY IF USING FRESH FRUIT
- very small pinch of black pepper to help absorb the turmeric
- Feel free to experiment with different types of fruits. Peaches, limes, blackberries, blueberries, watermelon, etc. The possibilities are endless!
- If you do not like the taste of stevia you can add 2 tablespoons of your favorite natural sweetener.
