Some people are Team Protein Powders (like myself) and others tend to turn their noses up to it.
I am pro Protein powders (plant based ones of course), because they are a quick and a convenient way to get macro nutrients (carbohydrates, protein, fats) into your daily diet especially after a curve building workout.
Plant based protein powders are food supplements containing a high percentage of protein derived from whole foods. The protein component is extracted from of the food through different processing techniques. Some people even opt out to creating their own (DIY Plant Based ProteinPowders) The recipe below contains the QUEEN of all plant based protein powders…Vega!
Vega Smoothie Tango has an orange like flavor and works well with tropical fruits like mango, oranges and pineapples. (Plus I thought it would be cute to say “Mango Tango” lol)
This recipe is my summer time go to protein smoothie due it’s tropical think. I use a frozen banana for thickness and to keep the smoothie chilled. Also an additional added protein boost to this smoothie is Kite Hill vegan yogurt. Tho totally optional, the vanilla flavor of the vegan yogurt helps balance taste of the orange like flavors.
Vegan Curve Building Properties:
Vega Protein Powder of course. The main components contained in this product that makes it amino acid packed are pea protein and hemp seed protein. This powder has 15 grams of plant based protein per serving.
