Mango BBQ Sauce (Ninja Foodi or Instant Pot)

Made in only 20 minutes, this easy Mango BBQ Sauce is the perfect condiment for your favorite grilled recipes this Summer! It's the perfect combination of tangy and sweet!

  • Add olive oil in your Ninja Foodi. Press, “Saute’, and heat until oil is hot.
  • Add onions to hot Ninja Foodi. Sauté for about 1 minute. Next add chopped garlic to onions. Sauté for another minute, then turn off Ninja Foodi. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  • Place the pressure cooker lid on your Ninja Foodi. Set vent to, “Seal.” Press the pressure cooker button and set time for 10 minutes. Set temperature to high and press start. Pressure will take 5 minutes to rise.
  • When finished, do a quick release and allow steam to escape. Serve with your favorite vegan bbq recipes!

Notes

  1. Tomato Puree. Make sure you are using TOMATO PUREE and NOT tomato sauce or pasta sauce.
  2. Karuna's Joy D Peach, Mandarin, & Kiwi Whole Plant Juice would work great for this recipe as well! If can order their drinks on Amazon. Check out their store locator to see where it is sold in your area. If you don't have access to their drinks, replace with water or your choice of mango juice.
  3. Adjust the number of spices and sweeteners to your liking. Add more sweeteners if you like it sweeter, spices if you like it hot, or mustard if you like it tangier.
  4. This recipe will keep in the refrigerator for a week and can be frozen for up to 3 months.
