    CURVY VEGAN KITCHEN ESSENTIALS

This page is under construction. Thank you for your patience!

    1. Blender

High speed blenders are a must have in any curvy vegan kitchen. I invested in a Refurbished Vitamix Blender back in 2011 and it has NEVER once broken down. (I seriously love this thing.)  The motor on this thing is insanely good.

Uses: sauces, soups, smoothies, juicing (yes you can juice with a blender), homemade ice cream, plant based milks

    2. Food Processor

A good food processor does not have to cost hundreds of dollars. But I still wouldn't go the extra cheap route. I love the Hamilton Beach Food Processor (the 70725 model) because  it has an economical price with very good quality. Some of the cheaper blenders are harder to assemble. For instance, from past experiences I have had top containers not snapping on properly. This food processor is of high quality at an affordable price. Great for making plant based protein bars.

Uses: chopping veggies, raw vegan pie crusts, granola bars, bean burger mixture

    3. Crock Pot

I was a little late to jump on the crock pot bandwagon. Looking back I realize how much time I wasted not having one. Like most of you I work a lot and there is nothing better than coming home and having something healthy and filling already done for you. I use this device all the time for my curvy bean soup recipes. Having a crock pot will save you so much time in meal prepping. I recommend the Crock-Pot® 8 Qt. Manual Slow Cooker. It's a good quality crock for a good price. Use your red card and get 5% off when purchasing. (If you don’t have a red card get one. I save so much because I shop at Target often. Even with clearance sales, cartwheel deals, and yes black Friday sales you can use your red card and get additional savings).

    Uses: soups, chillis

    4. Spiralizer

Great inexpensive tool to have to make your fruits and veggies look pretty. It can be used to make zucchini noodles, spiral carrots, or ribbon cucumbers.  I have the Farberware Spiralizer. This brand has 3 different designs; a thin spiral blade, a thick spiral blade and straight blade ribbon designs. The blades store on the appliance so it's very convenient. They also have suction so that it will stay in place once you start to spiral your vegetables or fruit. Use your red card and get 5% off when purchasing. (If you don’t have a red card get one. I save so much because I shop at Target often. Even with clearance sales, cartwheel deals, and yes black Friday sales you can use your red card and get additional savings).

    Uses: vegetable noodles

    5. Loaf Pan

A good loaf pan will help you create many curvy vegan recipes. I like this brand here because it is non stick so clean up is super easy. Your homemade vegan breads, vegan loaves, and
